International Students

Admission to Southern Cross Institute is on the basis of meeting minimum academic and English language requirements for your course.

At least one of the following academic entry criteria must be met by an International applicant for the undergraduate course:

i.HSC/Year 12 passed with minimum ATAR of 65

ii.Satisfactory completion of an authorised Tertiary Preparation Program, Tertiary Orientation Program, or a Foundation Year Program through an accredited higher education institution provided at:

1. 1. Australian Universities;
   2. TAFE Institutes;
   3. Government approved Registered Training Organizations (RTOs).
   4. An approved foreign provider recognized by NOOSR.

iii. Satisfactory completion of one year of accredited full-time study in the associated discipline at Certificate IV or greater level at a licensed Australian supplier of tertiary education, as follows:

1. 1. Certificate IV;
   2. Diploma of Business;
   3. Advanced Diploma;
   4. Vocational Graduate Certificate;
   5. Vocational Graduate Diploma;
   6. Associate Degree;
   7. Bachelors’ Degree.

iv. Satisfactory completion of one year of accredited full-time study in an associated discipline at Certificate IV or greater level at an accredited foreign education provider as recognized by NOOSR.

v. If English is not the first language of the applicant, they should satisfy the ‘English Proficiency Requirements’ given below.
