Acknowledgement of Country
Southern Cross Institute (SCI) acknowledges the Traditional Custodians and the enduring custodianship and
law of the Country on which our Parramatta campuses stand. We pay our respects to the Darug people, the
traditional custodians of this land, and honour their deep and ongoing connection to Country.
We respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past and present. As a mark of respect, SCI begins
its major events, official meetings, functions, and other special occasions with an Acknowledgement of
Country.
