Dr Song Ee Hahn, Academic Director – Hospitality Management, represented Southern Cross Institute (SCI) at the CAUTHE 2024 Annual Conference and Chapter Directors’ Meeting held in Hobart on 9 February 2024.

The conference was a valuable platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Notably, SCI was officially introduced to the CAUTHE community during the Annual General Meeting, with a warm welcome from the CAUTHE Chair, Professor Erica Wilson (Southern Cross University), marking our formal inclusion as a chapter member.

Dr Hahn also participated in the Special Interest Group session, engaging in timely discussions on current learning and teaching issues in tourism and hospitality education. The event provided a strong foundation for future academic engagement and collaboration across the sector.
